New range of more efficient and environmentally friendly aluminium pistons
The main objective of this project is to manufacture a new aluminium piston concept that is much more environmentally friendly than those currently available on the market, with the ability to improve the efficiency of the combustion process and reduce pollutant gas emissions. To achieve this challenge, the research will focus on studying how to increase the thickness of TiO₂ ceramic coatings obtained through anodic electrodeposition.
The project is led by MUGAPE, with the collaboration of INNOMAT COATINGS, S.L. and the IK4-CIDETEC Technology Centre.
