New generation smart materials and advanced coatings for the automotive industry
The main objective of the AUTOKONPON project is to develop new generation smart materials and advanced coatings that enable the creation of an innovative generation of automotive products and auxiliary components with self-healing, scratch-resistant and anti-abrasion properties. MUGAPE’s activity focuses on the development of anodizing baths capable of generating self-healing coatings with high corrosion resistance and long-term durability.
The project, led by MAIER S. COOP. LTDA., involves the collaboration of the following companies: ATOTECH ESPAÑA S.A., MUGAPE, S.L., INDUSTRIAS QUÍMICAS IRURENA S.A., CIKAUTXO S. COOP. LTDA., ZF LEMFORDER TVA S.A., as well as the collaboration of RVCTI network agents: LORTEK Association – Research Centre for Joining Technologies, CIDETEC Foundation, GAIKER Foundation and MAIER TECHNOLOGY CENTRE S.COOP. MTC.
