This commitment has been recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, which has awarded MUGAPE the Innovative SME Seal—a distinction reserved for companies that carry out research, technological development, and innovation (R&D&I) activities.
MUGAPE has earned this certification by meeting the requirements established by the Spanish Tax Agency for corporate tax deductions related to innovative activities and R&D projects. The company has a highly qualified scientific and technical team with extensive experience in the development of advanced coatings, supported by facilities specifically designed for research and innovation.
Receiving the Innovative SME Seal provides independent recognition of MUGAPE's commitment to innovation. By obtaining this distinction, we have joined the group of just over 2,000 Spanish companies officially recognized by the Ministry of Science and Innovation for their innovative capabilities and contribution to technological progress. Only around 0.1% of active companies in Spain are considered innovative, placing MUGAPE among a select group of businesses committed to making innovation a core driver of growth, competitiveness, and the creation of new business opportunities.
