Advanced dental implants based on a highly biocompatible beta titanium alloy with a functionalized surface.
The objective of the BioTiDent project is to develop advanced dental implants made from a highly biocompatible $\beta$-titanium alloy with a functionalized bioactive and antibacterial surface. This aims to promote sound osseointegration and prevent infection, providing future patients with a highly satisfactory experience and an improved quality of life.
The new surface treatment that MUGAPE will develop—alongside IK4-TEKNIKER (a member of the RVCTI)—on novel commercial titanium alloys within the framework of this project will ensure the implant's bioactivity, bringing inherent technological value and superior specific performance.
